ZetaMed’s dental devices are non-invasive. Similar technology has been clinically and scientifically proven to reduce snoring and mild sleep apnoea in high proportion of patients. ↓
Obstructive sleep apnoea and snoring are both breathing disorders occurring during sleep due to narrowing or total closure of the airway. Snoring may often be more problematic than the noise itself. However, consistent loud, heavy snoring has been linked to medical disorders such as hypertension (high blood pressure), headaches and daytime sleepiness.
Obstructive sleep apnoea is a serious condition where the airway totally closes many times during the night and can therefore significantly reduce blood oxygen levels in the body, as well as disrupt sleep patterns. In varying degrees, this can result in excessive daytime sleepiness, irregular heartbeat, hypertension and occasionally heart attack and stroke.
ZetaMed’s range of dental devices are non-invasive. Similar devices such as the MDSA have been clinically and scientifically proven to reduce snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnoea in a high proportion of patients, however, there is never a guarantee that the approach used in ZetaMed’s devices will be 100% successful for every individual.
In choosing ZetaMed to treat snoring or mild to moderate sleep apnoea, you are aware that it may not be completely effective. It is your responsibility as the practitioner/purchaser to disclose all instructions, both verbal or written, and to monitor the patient for any side effects or complications.
